“Track-Locomotive Interaction Communication Through The Rails“
Abstract: This paper deals with questions of transmitting information from the earth (track) to the moving body (locomotive) and vice versa, in the aim of automatic driving and speed control and giving visual and acoustic information to the driver. Two data transmition modes: continual and punctual, enabling the realization of either limited or complex functions of Automatic Traffic Control, are presented. Operating principles, functional possibilities and the descriptions of appropriate equipment, for both types of tract - locomotive communications through the rails, are given. |
